Blacked out the taillights on the S500
The car is really dirty so the photos don't show up so well. But, used 1 part black to 4 parts clear coat to cover the taillights. After a few passes, this is how they turned out.

I forgot to mention that the next project planned for the taillights is to add brake light bulbs to the inner portion of the taillights. There are sockets, not being used, on each taillight. Their position is on the inside closest to the license plate.

Nice work man this looks really clean. I wouldn't mind doing this to my s500. How hard is it to get the tail lights off and what kind of paint did you use?

A local paint shop did the work. I believe the mixture is 4 parts clear coat to 1 part black mixed. You spray on maybe 2-3 coats and determine if you want more or not based on darkness. The taillights are really easy to take off. Just some screws and disconnecting wires.
