1994 tails on 95 s-class
i know the tail lights are different on the 94 and 95 s-classes...my question is, how different are they? Can i fit the 95+ tails by just changing out the trunk? Are the tail openings and quarter panel different? I paint cars for a living so doing custom work isn't a huge issue...i just want to see how much it will take to get them to fit...thanks guys...

The difference is the lower left and right corners of the trunk lid at the lower portion of the taillight just above the clear portion that runs the full length of the rear. The 95+ are more rounded at that point than the pre 95's. A 95 trunk lid fits just fine on an older version. You can also grind the edges of the trunk lid to conform to the curvature of the taillights, then sand, prime and paint to match.

Excellent.
So your side cladding and bumpers have the "accent" ridge instead of the smooth bumpers the 92-94's have?
Guess you won't need to purchase new lights unless you go with some of the nice LED's I have seen on eBay.
