Where is this part located??

Aspirator Motor, aka Sampler Motor, aka Recirculation sensor, aka Ambient Temperature Sensor, aka Cabin Temperator Sensor etc.
On a 92 500 SEL.
Same part number? 140 830 00 08 (this is for late model 140's)
Thank you for looking and hopefully I'll get an answer!

Lucky you. I just read up on a DIY on Peach Parts forum. The article describes it being in the overhead console. I'm gonna check mine out to. Apparently temperature overshoot beyond the 15 second lag indicates problems.
The article and link can also be found inthe rough idle link below (Baxnet)

I have the link..read it and all the other articles! That author Greg did wonders!
But his car is a 98 S class...W140...I just though my 92 500 SEL would be different.
Peachtree has the filter and Aspirator Motor, aka Sampler Motor, aka Recirculation sensor, aka Ambient Temperature Sensor, aka Cabin Temperator Sensor for 150 bucks shipped. Talked with Phil at Peachtree this am and placed an order. Same location on my 92 as the 98.
