unfortunately, you can't. i even went to the dealer (stealer lol) and they said nope, we couldn't. when you think of all the advancement in technology and yet they can't reprogram the darn screen 
u can't even use the radio since the FM Frequency in Japan is different from the rest of the world. so, i just installed a new, additional, Sony CD, radio receiver unit with remote control and installed under the steering wheel a bit to the side. it even has IPod control. radio is clear and sound is great. was difficult to find a guy who can actually do this job, but finally i found one.
