Easier than you think. There are 3 or 4 clips that will pop if you firmly pry under the molding.
My local mechanic traced burned mirror heater wire to that location. I made the repair, along with air tubing replacement. Got to know it pretty well.
There is some sequence to removal as you access forward panels, including a philips behind a plastic plug on the vertical junction cover.
