HID Conversion- $79
Whats up everyone. I bought an HID kit from Elite lighting here in chicago. It was a great deal. For $79 its the complete kit, any color or kelvin scale intensity (basic plug and play set up). Kit also comes with a 1 year warranty. The only thing im figuring out is the high beam low beam wiring in the harness. other than that they work great. I got them for my 92 500sel.
If anyone else is looking for a good deal on HIDs you can call them and ask for mike. Let him know that I referred you to his craigslist ad, that way you'll get the $79 dollar price. otherwise its $150.

oldsinner- yes. its a basic plug and play system. it fits right where your stock bulbs would go inside the headlight. theres a 3pin plug that your stock bulb plugs into. with the HIDs that same 3pin plugs into a harness that goes to a ballast and then to the new HID bulbs inside the headlight. mounting balast wasn't hard either.
felix- how much cheaper?
i took my car to mike yesterday to help figure out the highbeam lowbeam wiring. he did it in 2 minutes. HIDs look really nice.

yeah, they're really bright! it takes them a minute to warm up like any HID. the ones i have are 8000k its hyper white with a bit of blue. the 10,000k is really blue and i thought would make my car look like a ricer. plus cops like to ticket us here in chicago burbs over stupid **** like blue HIDs. 12000k is a purple color.
but it takes 20 hours of run time for them to really set in with the color. they get brighter too.
