Radio issue with my 96 S420
Hello all.
I'm having an issue with the radio in my 96 S420 sedan. It's AM/FM/Cass and Weather band. No CD.
The radio face plate responds to commands and I can toggle from AM to FM to WB and station preset to preset, but there is no music coming from the speakers. Instead, only a combination of low frequency hum and high pitched squeal. The volume control doesn't have any impact.
I pulled the fuse and reset the radio to no avail. All I get is the bad noise.
Anyone?

I would suggest to change your radio. Sometimes it happens with these cassette players. I don't know the reason why, but sometimes it happens. Anyhow its an old thing, and I would suggest to change it. I changed my cass also.
