1985 Merc 500 SEC for sale
Hey All,
I just bought a 1985 500 SEC and now would like to sell it. It runs smoothly, it only needs a couple minor fixes (sunroof, bumper has some lower damage, and A/C isn't great) but the main reason I want to sell it is because the engine has been replaced. The guy I bought it from told me it was original engine (has 59,000) miles on it, but I take it to the mechanic and he says it isn't original and I'd have trouble passing the smog test. I don't really have the money to give this car the love it needs, so I'd like to sell it for at least $1800.
I'm bummed because this is my first car purchase and I was really looking forward to having such a snazzy one. Its a deep red, smooth lookin' ride.
