AMG/Bilstein suspension for a '92 600sel
Hello all,
I'm debating between and AMG suspension or doing a Bilstein shock (with H&R lowering springs) on my '92 600sel. Here's a link to the AMG suspension I found: http://www.cars.engisoft.net/EBMS/Ca...ProductId=2043
What do you guys think? My plans for this car are: I want the Monoblock type two wheels as well as the AMG bodykit http://www.cars.engisoft.net/EBMS/Ca...&OrderBy=Model (it's called the AMG W140 S Sport Package).
What do you all think?
Ricky

If I had to, I'd go with the AMG springs and shocks. Running H&R springs on a huge luxury sedan just wouldn't be appealing to me.
Try getting the 18" monoblocks first and then see what your ride is like. Our 140 came stock with 18" monoblocks and the car rides great.
In regards to the bodykit. Is your car a two-tone? Meaning the lower rocker panels are a different color than the other paint? If so, have your lower rocker panels painted the color of the rest of the car first. It will totally transform your car's look without spending money on a bodykit.
