newbie question

Well i just picked up a 1993 500 SEL. I was previously driving a 750il BMW. I hope this car snags as many looks as the BIMMER - lol. As for performance does this car have decent acceleration and power. I know it won'y be like the 750 but I am hoping it has some spunk! Any other comments on this car? Wheels definitely need an upgrade - would love suggestions. Are 20's too big? I hope this board is as helpful as the BMW messege board (Roadfly.com). Thanks in advance!!

I've seen quite a few early model 140's come in the dealership for AC work, PSE pumps. Just a couple of things I've seen.

20's look good on the W140 S class. What color is your car? I would stay away from chrome wheels if your car is two-tone. Kinda clashes with the gray lower panels. I have a '92 500 SEL and it is black and gray. I put the silver AMG's from the w220 Sport Package wheels on and they look pretty good.
