front coil springs broken.Better to buy new or can drive like this for few months?
Hello guys.I just replaced front shocks and my coil springs (both) are broken at the buttom.I was wondering if i can keep on driving like this since don't have the founds to fix it at this moment.I would probably have to drive for another few thousand miles like this before i will have the money to get new spring and have them installed by mechanic. The question is if it's ok to drive or should be replaced asap( i can always take a loan, springs plus labor around 400$).Anybody have any advice? Please let me know. Thanks!
By the way there i no sagging, front looks normal, level.

The front springs also broke on our W140 and it wasn't noticed until we looked under the car one day. I don't think there has been safety testing done as to if it is ok to keep driving on them or not. An educated guess says that replacing them sooner rather than later is best. This should only cost you a few hundred dollars at most.

If it were me.I would buy aftermarket HR springs.Maybe they will last longer.
