s600 '93 questions
Hello everybody
As I'm new to this forum I'd like to start by telling you little something about me and my car before I ask the questions. I'm 27 years, living in Iceland (small Island in the middle of nowhere) and that sould explain my bad spelling and grammar. I'm driving my very first Mercedes (s600 '93) and it has about little over 100k miles on the meter.
What has been done:
19" AMG Wheels with Dunlop 255/40/19 front and 285/35/19 rear
Original brakes but blue painted calipers
1st gear start modification to the transmission (done by the service garage as the transmission broke down before the I got the car so I don't know what was done - hope it was complete change to 722.6 but guess that is not what happend
Clifford responder
Pioneer CD, JBL and Legacy ampl. some 10" subs and Kenwood in rear + a/d/s/ 3 component speakers in front.
Ok enough about that... here comes the questions
What can I do to increase the performance? (I've been all over the net and I'm full of ideas but would like some advise if you've got them)
Look changes? (here again I've found some body kits but advise is always good)
Suspension?
Brakes?
Anything else?
Best regards
p.s. please don't ask where I found the extra 14 hp - it was there all the time

You should start out with taking a look at www.performanceproducts.com. Order a customized catalog. Now I'm not sure whether they do international too so check for that.
I believe Renntech still has stuff available for it but they are very expensive.
Suspension- You could probably lower it a bit to give a more sleek look.
Brakes- Probably steel braided brake lines and maybe some better pads.
Engine- You could purchase a carbon fiber air intake and a chip to increase a bit of performance. I would definitely recommend getting a nice exhaust.

Thanks for this, I'm already looking for chips and new pads for the brakes. Is anyone here that knows about drilled rotors - does it increase the braking power much? more wear for the pads? cost?
Any more suggestions?

I like the Wald kit. An aggressive look and certainly not one you'll see everyday.
