Rear passenger window not working
I just purchased a 1996 s320 swb. The rear passenger window is not working. I tried both the front switch and the switch on the door. Nothing.
All other windows are working, albeit the rear drivers side is slow.
Any ideas on where to start the diagnosis?

What tends to happen is that the motor will fail. I replace the motor on my rear left side and its working like a champ. As for your rear driverside also a common problem that causes it to go slow is the gear teeth on the motor can crack causing it not to catch on as fast as normal.

Thanks. I removed the door panel and found that the cable was off the plastic wheel and wrapped around the channel.The motor and switch are working. I ordered a new regulator with the rivets.Thanks for the reply.
