Self Leveling? Not Self Leveling?

I HAVE A 1994 S500. IT'S BEEN LOWERED WITH H&R SPRINGS FOR SOME YEARS NOW, SO I PLAN ON BUYING NEW SHOCKS (BILSTEIN HD OR KONI SPECIAL). I AM NOT SURE IF I HAVE SELF LEVELING OR NOT. HOW DO I DETERMINE THIS? THANKS FOR YOUR HELP.

self leveling

It had self leveling ,but some people remove it when they change wheel, spring, tire combinations. I just saw a post on another site, where the entire system was for sale. He had installed normal shocks!
