shaking like mad

My car has 18' AMG monoblock with Dunlop SP9000 245/45/18. The tires have traveled more than 25000km. Now, when my car travels at 82-87km/h. My steering wheel is shaking like mad and the passengers can feel the shaking. But this only happens between 82-87km/h. Otherwise, it is very smooth and no shaking at all. I am now running tires pressures (cold tires) 34 fr and 37 rear. What do you guys think?

shake

So:
You have the wrong size wheels, the wrong size and make of tires and your tire pressure is way too high. I wonder why you are having problems?

Well, Hong Kong has narrow streets, if you hit the curb often, you might want to check the balance of each wheel more often. Also, I would switch to smaller size tires over there.

You have bent a rim. Have a wheel and tire shop check it out for you. Hopefully, he can get rid of some of the shaking by re-balancing. Otherwise, you will have to repair or buy a new rim to get rid of the shake. This happened to me before. If the rim is bent, no matter how you have it re-balanced, it will still shake.

Get your wheels balanced

Classic problem -- will be fixed quickly (unless a tire is out of round whihc seems unlikely given the current mialge).
