S320 Tire Recommendation
Hello,
Any recommendation on new tires?
Currently have Michelin MXV about 7 years old. They are worn badly but car still rides well.
I am leaning towards the same but they are costly.
I don't want to be sorry if I put inferior tires on the car.
Does anyone know of any less expensive brand that are of good quality?
Also, tires are worn inside (toe-in) any common front end problems to look for before I replace the tires?
Thanks

Start checking all your suspension bushings. If the tires are wearing on the inside that could be an indicator some of them are failing, or that you just need an alignment.
As for tires, it's a Mercedes; therefore it should be run on Michelins. The pilot sport A/S's are somewhat cheaper--if I remember right.
Go onto Tire Rack and browse through their selection. Great place to buy tires and cheaply priced.

You should not sacrifice safety and higher than normal quality for lower priced tires. Stay with the tried and true Michelin brand. The equals to what you have would be the MXV Primacy Series. I just bought a set for my mothers 07 E350,and I have them on my 750iL.

I can get Y rated tires from Japan for 1/2 the price of U.S. traitor Michelins.
I perfer U.S. made,but will go Japanese
Boycott outsourcers
