How to change vacuum cylinder - inside drivers door, I got the new cylinder but now I SEE, I'm not new to car work but don't like to overdo or damage anything so please someone.

I can take a w126 door apart and fix a regulator in 20 minutes.But my w140 will go to a shop to fix a regulator.My understanding special tool needed for door.

Didnt you already asked this question a few days ago? You did I just look at the thread? Once the door panel is off the lock actuator is right in front of you, its black and is removed easy...good luck

I've had the window regulators, one on front passenger & driver's rear window replaced at an auto glass repair shop here in Honolulu. I bought the regulators via www.autohausAz.com ~$100 ea for the regulators + about $100 per door. Well worth it. Call the various auto glass repair shops in your area. ~Jon
