flashing low gas light. 97 s420
my low fuel light flashes here and there when i have about 1/8 of a tank left. i never once gotten the yellow lights flashing on me no matter how low my tank has been. i do have a check engine light that recently came on. does anyone know what this it?

You can get the CEL checked out with a scanner - might yield something related to your fuel issues.

All you need for this is a cheap basic OBD2 code scanner.
