Another duovalve question

OK following several posts I took apart the duovalve, it was kind of gunked up so hoped that was the problem. I cleaned & lubed it but still nothing. SO how do I test the little pump to know if thats the problem. The hoses going in are hot the out are cold so I'm sure it's just not working but need a test procedure if anyone has any ideas. Thanks

Theres two plungers in side that get stuck, you can test the pump by taking it off and apply 12 volts to the posts..I think they are marked positive and negitive
