Your opinion on wheels?
i am looking to buy some wheels and tires for my w140. what would look best?


i am leaning toward two kinds of rims?

AMG monoblock and lorinser d93


Also would you get these chrome or non?


Finally What size would most of you get (that is best for looks and ride comfort) 18, 19, 20 ?

Any tips and comment appreciated.

1994 Mercedes Benz S 500
Wheels
I have chrome wheels on my 94 S500 and have tire inflation problems because the chrome on the inside of the wheel starts to chip off and the tire starts to deflate. My tire specialist stated this was a common problem and was to be expected with chrome wheels. As you know replacing chrome wheels is expensive, so you may want to take this into consideration. REH

I would go with AMG monoblock. No chrome. 18's look pretty good and would have decent ride comfort. 19's look a little better but I'm pretty sure you'll feel them. 20's look ghetto and you better watch out for any bump in the road.

i already followed snow's advice..

i bought 18' inch monoblock...non chrome....i think i made the right choice.
