Problem In my W140
hello every one
I have w140 s320 year1994, and i have a problem with it:
when i drive it and try to go faster the car reach about 145 km/h and no more speed, i don't have speed cross, i check the fuel pump and nozzle and every fuel filters... i confused with it and i don't know what i doing with it.. please if any one have a suggesting please tell me

Has your wiring harness been replaced? How are your spark plugs and coils?
How about your air filter?Are your catalytic convertores stopped up.?
In mph the engine has a governor to stop at 130 mph.

oldsinner111.... thanx for your replay...
I don't replace wiring harness, but i check spark plugs and coils and it's working good same thing about air filter....

In mph the engine has a governor to stop at 130 mph".... Can you enplane more about this points please.... thank you for your time

it depends on where you live,a Europeon Mercedes should have no govenor.I removed my catalytics.But if I was to move to california I would buy Mustang Catalytics to replace the Mercedes ones.Why because their cheaper.
Also I forgot maybe the mass sensor or Maf needs new one.
