Valentine1 Radar install
Has anyone installed the V! radar detector in their S-class?
How can it be wired into the fuse box? Where is the pass through from the passenger compartment to the engine?

possible to post a pic of your interior (console area including shifter and HVAC)...i'm curious to see if it's almost the same design as my w202. i've noticed some early-mid s class has same/like design. if its the same, i can help you out as i hardwired my radar (8500) to the cigarette adapter.

Pull back the carpet on the front passenger side and take off the cover under it. There will be a few power sources that are a constant 12 volt. then just wire it up through the back of the dash on the passenger side. Pretty easy, I didnt do it myself but I watched my installer do it.
