1997 Mersedes S420
ECU help
I think my ECU is bad is it a way to check? I was thinking about just buying a used on any advise on it MB family?

I haven't heard of them going bad on 96 and up vehicles.The ones that did on 95 and below were from wires shorting out in the bad wiring harness.
Ebay motors though has alot of computers for sale,I would try them and Ebay U.K. also.Now there are fuses that can blow in the ECU.Remove coffin like lid on passenger side.Look at panels for blowed fuses.
