Second gear start
I`m just wondering if my `92 600SEL starts in second gear. I thought it only did that in the 500EÉ If true, how do you get it to start in firstÉ

I thought they shared the same transmission? If you want to start in first, just put the car in B at a stop (go down to 2 and move it left), and you'll start in 1st. If thats different from how it normally takes off, than you don't normally start in 1st. Bergwerks.com makes a shift module that makes it start in 1st, and I'd recommend it. The other way to do it is to modify the springs in the valve body, but I'd rather just buy the box from Bergwerks.
