The answer to your question really depends on which brand of bottled drinking water was used. My preference is for zero water which is filtered to remove calcium and sodium, the two things that will cause internal failing of a cooling system.

You may also consider dionized water and distilled water as alternatives.

Everyone,

I just want to post this to help out others that may be looking for information on MB coolant and cooling systems.

First, it is recommended that the cooling system be flushed every two to three years, using only genuine Mercedes-Benz coolant or Zerex G-05 coolant. These are the only two coolants that are approved for use in these cars.

Second, coolant should only be mixed with distilled water so that minerals are not introduced into the system, which could lead to internal corrosion.

If you are looking for the correct coolant for your car, we offer it on our website. You can get to it by clicking HERE, or by clicking on the photo of the coolant below.

If you are changing the coolant in your car, we offer this Coolant Evacuation Tool Kit so that you can re-fill your cooling system without air lock issues.

You can find the Coolant Evacuation Tool Kit on our site HERE, or by clicking on the photo of the kit below.

If there is anything else I can help out with, please feel free to post or send a PM!
