Project S32 ///amg !!!!!
I will have sound clips of the exhaust and intake once i get a chance too but they should sound amazing together, car sound much better at idle but definately sounds like a V8.. im very happy with the results.
P.S. Dyno's will be coming soon
. there are still a few more mods I want to do. once i do them i will get a final final dyno in just to show how much power i've made to the wheels. it should be interesting to see what the results are.sneak peak of whats to come.... headers, software, Royal purple throughout entire drivetrain, and a few secret mods here and there.
If i can pull V8 numbers and break into the 230's-240's I will be very happy. I may get a current dyno just to see how much intake and exhaust alone have added and then another one later on. anyways i'll keep yall updated.

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
Hey guys,
well today I was expiramenting with the EGR valve mounted on the headers. the EGR is basically an emissions system that takes combusted gas and pumped it back into the cylinders, which is better for emissions but sucks for performance. So i decided to do an expirament today just to see what would happen if i disconnected the vacuum line going to the EGR valve. SO i took it off and closed it off with a bolt so it would still remain air tight. To my suprise i got no warning lights of any kind .
So i took the car out for a spin. The first thing i noticed was the throttle responce. the car seems to have much better throttle responce and feels "peppier". I definitely feel more low end torque but I don't think it did anything for high end HP.
The second thing i noticed was that the exhaust note changed. The exhaust sounded louder and slightly more aggressive than before. I kinda like it . So i definately know it did something.
I had a feeling there would be no ill effects because I have an old 93 OBD1 benz and the electronics were not nearly as complex back then (along with their emisssions systems), so i figured the computer wasn't smart enough to know the difference and I was right. I do not recommend this mod for any OBD2 cars (1996+) but for OBD1 300SE's it should be no problem. anyways no problem.
This may seem like an insignificant thing but the reason this mod is so crucial is that it now means I can run custom Exhaust headers with zero problems. So this was a big step to overcome and I'm glad i tried it out. Now i know its possible without any ill side effects.
Crazy night.. i was coming home from a movie tonight (wedding crashers, BTW SUPER funny), and i see this black big body benz. i pull up closer and its got rims and BIG exhaust tips, looked like the same ones in those WALD pictures (same color too). It had 20" chrome wheels. SO i instigate alittle, i look closer... its a S500. So then i start toying with it to entice him. he bites the bait... so we go around this huge curve but theres no way he can hang with me on the twisties b/c of my suspension and lighter SWB car. so we hit the next straight and i go ahead a few cars. THen i see him floor it and he's coming up on me FAST. So i gun it with him about 3 car length behind me. Then i gain and match his speed with one car behind me. I rev all the way to top of third and hit 4th, still going strong, i hit close to the top of 4th and he pulls another 2-3 cars on me, then i shut down and he shoots ahead. honestly not bad for a huge disadvantage V8. I wish i raced him from a stop. Oh well. just thought i'd share my story.
I just ordered a set of new OEM floor mats for the benz, my old ones were starting to fold up alot so it was getting annoying, these new ones have the hook system which keep the floor mats in place amazingly (got it for my dads old 240D and they are perfect). This will really help the car look much newer on the interior b/c everything else looks good.
BTW i bought them from Hammersly motors for about $74, with shipping it came out to $90. not bad for OEM brand new set of mats. Anyways just thought i'd share. i'll take pics soon.
It's like he has his own private talk show, only problem he's the only guest
Omey!...How you doin tonite? Omey responds.. Ohh great wait'll I tell you about my latest Pep Boys mods! Back to you Omey.. really please tell me more......Meanwhile the Studio audiance...

Sorry I couldn't help it...I thought this was a forum? not a personal diary

btw - dyno results will be coming soon along with 1/4 mile times. Thanks guys for those who have been following the project, It's the home stretch now. I'll let u guys know once the dyno results get in.
. its just funny seeing a AMG badge on a car that probably would have trouble beating a honda stock HAHA, its just funny thinking about it. And i also joke saying its a Limited production "1 of 1" Most people don't realize the whole S32 AMG monikor is a joke :p , thats why its so funny, its supposed to get some laughs. Theres obviously no such thing as a real AMG S32, but I thought it would be cool to build one as if it were a real AMG car just to see what it could do.

Thats EXACTLY what I am trying to figure out
, that is the WHOLE purpose of the project, get as much power out of the thing as possible. this is not my sports car its just my daily driver i like to fool around with in my free time. I have a extremely highly modified E36 m3 so i have my fast sports car, this is just a good daily driver to get some kicks out of. its been well worth it, i love the car now. I used to no like it when it was stock but its come a long way since so it's definitely a keeper (not that I could really sell it for anything anyways).
today i finally got around to coating my exhaust system. I have been trying to do it for some time but just had no time to do it with the engine swap in my M3.
For those of you doing custom exhaust systems and it is very important to use some sort of spray on protectant to protect mild steel and aluminized steel from rust and corrosion. full 100% stainless steel systems u dont have to do anything, they pretty much last forever. I used Rustoleum's "High Heat" metal protectant that is safe up to 1200 degrees F which is plenty and not only that but it is a good brand name and it will provide protection for years to come. I used a full can on the whole cat back section of the exhaust system. I did it with the exhaust on the car (used scrap cardboard to prevent overspray, but its easier if you just do it when u do the exhaust). did a full coat all around and looks great. The only color they had was beige, which is alright, but i would rather get the black one, but the store was out of stock. I didn't really care about the color anyways b/c its under the car anyways so i figured it was a moot point.
As far as prepwork, just cleaned it with some windex and a rag, did a nice job of just getting all the loose dirt and etc off the exhaust can and piping. Again, i highly recommend some kind of protective exhaust coating so just give it a thought. Anyways i have new mods on the way but won't reveal them till they are done and hopefully i should be going to the track very soon and hopefully Dyno within the next two weeks
.

modification:
enlargement capacity to 3,8l
Increase in performance to 184 kW (250 HP) at 5600 rpm, 330 Nm at 3000 rpm
modification:
high performance camshafts with valve springs, sports air filters, adaption of ECU
mkb stuff, good for at least 370 and then a turbo, now that would be big power
Increase in performance to 220 kW (300 HP) at 5700 rpm, 390 Nm at 3000 rpm
modification:
enlargement capacity to 3,8l
sounds like MKB 11238 which is for a 18v V6......
