ashtray 'housing' removal--1999 S420...
hello
[two issues here, one at a time]...
Please take a moment to advise on the removal of the front ashtray 'support' for the 1999 S420...
I removed the ashtray by moving the sliding latch--it came out just fine...how to remove its 'base'--there seems to be what looks like a 'star' wheel at the top, but it turns without much effect...
The issue here which brought this about is changing the ashtray lightbulb...it sits at an odd angle, off to the right side under a plastic 'hood' in a recess, and attempts to insert the new bulb displaced the lamp contact socket. At any rate, is there a tool to properly insert the mini-bulb--or, simply, nimble fingers?

follow up:
A screw seems to hold the burlwood cover piece in place...
At any rate, I removed it and burlwood cover, located the displaced bulb socket and set the ashtray bulb in place--great...
now, if the lighter element itself can be removed--or, again, the ashtray base taken out--then the bulb socket can be re-secured...
