Looking for a Benz.
Hi everyone! This is my first post here on MBWorld. I would like to first start off by saying that I don't own a Mercedes-Benz (hence my username) yet but I would like to own one soon. I am looking into buying a 1998 Mercedes-Benz S500 with no title or key. I know buying a car with issues like that is a little risky but the price for it is apsolutley amazing! I was browsing my local Craigslist and found it for only $450! 
I'm not sure if it's a good deal or not, as it does look as though it needs some work. The reason I'm here is to ask if it's a good deal or not and if these S-Classes have common issues and often need work. My other option would be a 1997 C230 but, I would rather have the newer more luxurious Benz

1996 S320
I own a '96 S320 SWB, and I recommend this year and model! Has lots of room and feels like class!
I have about 150,000 mi, and have had very little issues, only one that I couldn't handle on my own. It was a computer issue. All else has been the easiest car to work on ever! The mileage when I purchased was 91,000 mi, so I have put about 60,000 mi on the car myself. The ease of working on a MB is amazing, and I see how MB mechs make so much money on them. The quality alone makes them worthy to own, regardless of the cost to fix any issues. I wish you the best in picking out the MB of your choice, and hope you get many miles out of the vehicle. As for mine - owning a $63,000 car, for 1/10th the original cost, is just one cool thing!!
