140 ligtswitch bulb

Remove the knob by pushing a small screwdriver into the slot at the bottom of it, It should pull off. Next remove the screws that hold the parking brake handle trim. There are more screws at the top, look up you will see them, remove. Remove the nut on the light switch, the panel should pull out, the steering wheel switch can also be pulled forward. The bulb (miniature) is in a socket and pushed in to the light pipe.
Get the bulb from MB a (couple of bucks) beforehand they were out when I got mine. It turned out to be unplugged or fell out of the socket. It might be slightly different on the adjustable headlamp version.

thanks

just been out - very simple once you can see.

1) shove small flat screwdriver into lightswitch bottom and pull out
2) remove top screw above steering wheel adjuster, and pull out switch complete. noneed to unplug
3) remove two screws from behind steering wheel switch
4) remove two screws from under parking brake release handle
5) undo 20 mm ish nut (I used an adjustable) from lightswitch
6) pull assy out - with headlight aim switch it only has 1" movement - but this is enough to get at small 1.2 watt bulb. (white base)

(fog light warning bulb is 0.5 watt (grey / gray base) - not a direct swap over )

go buy a new bulb

Thanks again.
