Climate Control died
I have a 94 s350 w140 with climate control that will come on and work normally, but when I turn off the power and remove the key it stays powered up. the outside fan continues to run as does the inside fan, also both "AOTO Button" lights stay on. I have to unplug the control unit to power it off. One other thing,... if I plug the unit back up without turning the ignition the unit wont power up untill the key is turned on. Any help will be appreciate.

Mine did the same thing a few times and then it finally went out. Now it works, but the fan speed will not increase at all. Old, fickle electronics. Mine did this after I ran the car up to about 120 mph one day. The fan was blowing gale force hard and then wouldn't shut off even after I cut the car off.
