My 99 has been good,so far new ignition switch,ignition relay,behind fuse box.oxygen sensor at 170,000 miles,I always change trans filter at 80,000 miles because I use Mobil One ATF.
However I did change to newer engine,because I did not attend to a tick tick noise,and ruined the engine.The timing chain tensioner. I even used a 125 hp wet shot of nitrous,to beat Mustang V8s at the track.I love it and will never sell it,as it is the last of the DIY friendly Mercedes left.Everything has gone to aluminum blocks.
