mercedes benz 300SE 1993
coolant mixture??
guys
my coolant has a layer of some coffe coloured liquid/mixture floating over it.
what could it be and what should i do for this?

engine oil is clean ...could this be radiator leak?

might be from a rotting radiator.The w140s when rad gets old,the transcooler leaks.I'd check it,don't drive till you do.

Yes please help me with this.the car drives perfect.no signs and symptoms of anything but the coolant needs to be resolved

they can drive good while water destroys your transmission.Check your transmission fluid. If it looks pink in color replace the radiator.If you have little money,you can seal off radiator,and hook another transcooler to lines.

If everything is ok,then change your coolant,I would flush system too.
