Climate control problem on 95 s320
Hey guys, I have a problem, the rear climate control is ALWAYS blowing ice cold, no matter what I do up front (warm or cold) and no matter what i do in the rear (fiddle with the buttons to try and adjust it) still will blow cold, i also thought that the s class has the knob that can keep the rear vent open or closed, yet i fiddle with that button and it does nothing.
Any suggestions? Fixes? Is this a common problem or an isolated problem?

Rear vent only blows cold air. Keep it closed. The front climate controls can warm up the rear in no time. Also, the rear passangers get warm air on their feet from the vents.

oooh wow, i never knew that haha. I tried messing around with the thing that keeps the vent open/closed, but it didn't really do much, i'm guessing the latch or whatever mechanism it is, is broken and it needs replacing, thanks for the quick reply man

Rear seat vent
Look in the console, lift up the liner on the bottom, there is a junction of the cable going from the rear control to the heater that turns it off and on. The heat comes from the vents on the floor, fresh air and AC comes from the console vent only. The 600s have a seperate heater/ AC in the console with loss of space.
