1995 s320
1995 S320 idle air malfunction
thanks for your help. it idles fine however if you start the car and drive it dies on any turns unless it is warm up for a while and now it has locked the steering so i won't start .

Have you checked or replaced the air filters? What RPM does it idle at? Have you looked at the throttle actuator operation? You indicated that the engine wiring harness was replaced. Have you checked the wiring to the throttle actator? Maybe it's a leak somewhere from the intake air? Have you checked if there's any related/tubing or hoses that got loose? Hard to tell without actually seeing it.

Great! At least it runs now!!! Check the MAF sensor by disconnecting the MAF sensor cable and see if it idles better. If it does, it's the MAF sensor.
