93 300 SE

my 1993 300 SE 81,000 miles.
At a stop light engine "stumbles" then smooth a second or 2 and stumbles again. This only happens after the car has been sitting a few days. I default to fuel filter but not sure.
Anybody else familiar with this?

Could be a number of things. Get a code reader for about $100 or go to an auto repair shop that will read codes for you. My first instinct is an ignition coil, but you have to know which position it's in before replacing.

I agree that the description could be a simple engine coil, or something else and it doesn't make sense to spend money on a part until you know what's wrong. A code scanner is a must if you have an older benz as you will get to use it more than you can imagine. Post your results and maybe the forum can help.
