My W140 2 month build

I just wanted to share with you my current project, 1995 Mercedes-Benz S320 LWB. I purchased the vehicle bone stock from a man in Manassas, VA. The vehicle mainly sat and was never driven with only 120k miles. When putting the vehicle through MD State Inspection, the vehicle passed with no issues.
My planwas to daily drive the vehicle since I needed something fairly inexpensive for my daily 160 mile commute to and from work however that all changed once I began modifying it.

The first modification that I did to the car was added a set of RARE Authentic 20x9.5 Brabus Monoblock Type 3 wheels. I added a brand new set of 255/35ZR20's to them so they had some new rubber.

My next modification was suspension. I ordered a set of BG Lowering springs which were about the same price as H&R's however the BG's offered more of an aggressive drop so I went with them.

I then began to add smaller modifications, Clear corners

Clear taillights..

Just a nice side shot of her at the gas station

I wanted to have my 140 stick out from the rest so I ordered a Replica WALD kit

From there I took the vehicle and kit to the shop. I wanted to have the body kit mounted, fitted and also have some body work done. The vehicle had rust on the rear quarter panels and front fenders. I also had to have custom fog light brackets fabricated to the OEM SLK fog lights to fit the bumper.
My friend who works at the shop was able to retro-fit the OEM mounting brackets to the new bumper so it would mount like OEM. Suprisingly, the kit fit very well and required minor modification to fit.

Here is how she looked when I went to pick it up from the shop..

I had asked the shop to color match the trim around the windows/windshield however they said the material wouldn't adhere well to it so I had the trim wrapped in satin black vinyl.I also had the windows tinted 20%.

I had a Magnaflow DTM muffler welded to the car to give it more of a sporty look to match the kit.

After this I got together with my friend Erik who is an amazing photographer and had him shoot the car..

In the meantime I had added a set of 30,000K 55W Watt HID's, replaced the driver side door lock mechanism, driver side door window regulator, AUX fan relay and had the refrigerant recharged. I also found out that my 2 front rotors were warped so I replaced all 4 rotors and pads so the brakes would wear more evenly.
Now here are the finished photos from the shoot that my friend did of the car..

even though I barely drive the car, someone STILL managed to ding my fender >

That is pretty much how the vehicle sits now. I was able to reach this point in about 2 months and now the vehicle is for sale as I am ready for a new project. I am only asking $8,500 for it and as you can see alot of time, money and effort has gone into the project in a short time frame.
Here are a few photos of my previous projects, 2003 BSM 220 S55 AMG by the same photographer

and 2003 Tectite Grey W211 E55 AMG..
