2008 S550 4Matic and 2014 E350A Cabriolet
Question upper antenna seal
My antenna motor had to be replaced, and the upper rubber antenna seal got torn. The part I ordered and received looks different. It is a single piece, plastic, that has a base and top cover to it. So, I can't just slip the part over the antenna, but the antenna has to be undone, and the part installed from the inside. Is there anyplace I can buy the single rubber piece and slip it over the antenna? Thanks

The cover is not very expensive, order one from your dealer.

My old one is rubber, and it got torn. The new one I bought is plastic, with a base attached to it. So, I need to undo the antenna, put in the plastic piece , then reset the antenna. I was hoping to find my former rubber piece to simply put over the outside antenna. Maybe it has been replaced with the plastic version.
