Need Front Bumper Cover Brackets

My wife backed straight up our steep driveway and ripped my front bumper off.... In her defense it appears as though the brackets were already broken as someone had zip tied the bumper on partially.

Anyway, my bumper cover as a whole is still serviceable but I need the left and right brackets that are riveted to the cover. I've attached a picture of one I found on the net with the bracket still attached.

If anybody has a set I would pay good money for them. I don't really like driving around with no bumper.

Thanks!

for those who may be inquiring in the future.... since creating this thread I've since realized that the part I circled in the above picture is not a separate piece, it is part of the whole mounting assembly that runs the full length of the bumper cover.

I found one at a local junk yard

Hi Wammer,

I know your post is from 2016, but I am dealing with that exact same issue right now.
Good to know that it's part of the main front bumper peice. No wonder I can't find
any one selling it. I am NOT going to buy a new/used bumper then paint to match etc....

I'm going to remove the rivets and fiber glass the thing back together (both sides).

This should make it stronger than factory. Mine are just crumbling to peices.

Thanks for your research on this matter.

2012 GLK350 4matic
Decided to share my recent experience with installing a Curt hitch on my 2012 GLK350 4Matic. At the time of writing this, there are 2 versions of the 2-inch hitch for sale at eTrailer. I went with the cheaper version to try and save a few bucks but didn't really pay attention to the suggested difficulty of install rating = 9 out of 10. If you read nothing else, and unless you really like punishing yourself, go ahead and splurge for the slightly more expensive newer Drawtite version to avoid the headaches I encountered during installation with mine.
If you do not have a exhaust hanger release tool to help you remove the exhaust hangers from the rubber holders, then do yourself a favor and get the tool along with soapy water to treat the rubber mounts. Makes the job of exhaust lowering significantly easier,
Toughest part of the installation has been trying to fish the bolt and rectangular washer through the driver's side rear beam frame. Very little space to fish the rectangular washer through between the hole on the back of the frame and the rear bumper valence. Passenger side was fine by utilizing the emergency tow hook rear bumper pop out.
Was also surprised when I encountered problems with the reinforcing arm having clearance issues with the rear underside plastic guard for the emergency tire wheel well.
