Okay so I have a question for all of you 140. I'm looking at purchasing a 92 S Class that has transmission issues. The transmission is not engaging consistently and reverse only works every once in awhile. I'm wondering if anybody has had any issues with this and knows whether the conductor plate replacement will fix these issues. If anybody can add any insight to this I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance

needs trans rebuilt 800 dlls . those trans don't have the conductor plate. just substract 1000 dlls from the purchase asking price, if you do the work if not just add 20 hrs or more in labour
