Hello, I have tried searched and searched for a solution to the problem my 97 S320 is have with the drivers side front window. The window will only go down about 3 to 4 inches then stops, no problem going back up when switch is pressed.I have removed the window regulator and inspected but no obvious damage, the motor works fine also. i noticed the Clip on the left side but not sure how to adjust. Please advise. thank you

Did you just have some works on the window recently? I asked because my rear right window cracked. Safelite auto glass guy installed a new window and it behaved like yours because he placed it on a wrong setting. He said there's 2 different settings. Sorry but that's all I know about it.
