1999 S500
Will these tires fit 1999 S500?
Factory size is 235/65/16, I found a set of nice looking Pirellis on craigslist for $100 but they are 235/70/16. I don't plan on getting new rims and obviously they're the same rim diameter, just not sure if that middle number makes them incompatible. Appreciate any insight, thanks.

the 'middle' number is the ratio or percentage that the side is of the tire width(1st number) ie. on a 200/50/16 the sidewall height is 50%(2nd #) of the 200(1st #). therefore in MY example the sidewall is 100mm. in your example the sidewall is 235X65% or 152.75mm. i think factory is 235X60% or 141mm.hope that helps.
