WTH???

Ok, I give up! I've searched the internet and owner's manual. I just bought this '92 300SE and there are two round, chrome circles on the rear panels on either side of the trunk lid. I thought maybe they are antennas, but the car already has an antenna on drivers side. PLEASE...what are these??

Mystery solved, found this...


when you're reverse, there are two antenna things that come up.... so you know where the end of you car is, when you're backing up...

Glad you discovered the answer, here is a link that covers some of the changes to the W140 after the facelift (wiring harness should have made the list)
