2002 Mercedes-Benz E320
1998 S320

I checked out a 1998 S320 today with 116,000 miles. It had no rust and is a one-owner car. The mechanic who has worked on the car for the owner since 2010 is selling it at the shop he owns here in Minnesota. The price is $3,500 OBO. A/c blew cold but seemed warmer than it should maybe I dont know. All windows and sunroof operated ok except for rear left window which struggled to go up when I put it down. The car was great, felt more dated than my W210 though. Car seemed very smooth and blew my 2002 E320 out of the water in terms of comfort. This car made my W210 feel like a tin can. There is documentation on repairs including blower motor, brakes, lots of oil changes, some driveshaft component, center console piece that was 500.00, something involving door panel pins holding door panel on, etc. I was told the rear window was replaced because "at a baseball game a baseball landed on the car and shattered the window" which sounded kind of sketchy. What does everyone think.
