Replacing with Pioneer Unit in Mercedes S320 - No Sound
I have just replaced the factory car stereo unit in my MB S320 1998. The unit is powering correctly and appears to be fully functioning EXCEPT there is No sound at all at any volume. Is there something I have missed hooking up? The six CD changer in the trunk is Not connected. Is that Part of the problem?
Also on the harness, what does "Speed dependent volume control - GAL" do? (Pin 1).

my understanding is you need to run all new wire.the amp is not compatable. factory wire to speakers is small.
