Altitude change, WOW

hey guys. After coming back from tucson after a few months I never realized the elevation change had that drastic effects. The car feels like it has an extra 30 HP, i guess the intake really makes a difference at lower altitudes. its faster than the cars every felt. tucson is at like 3000 feet, Houston, is at like 50ft. so quite a big difference. just thought i'd share

Yes it's a well know effect on atmospheric (non turbo) engines.

Even athlets have less performances on altitude (when no acclimated)
