Long time comin'
hi guys,
As the title says it's been a long time since i was on this forum and an even longer time since i started my good ol' s500(1995). I would think it's been the better part of ten yrs(wow!where does the time go?). I didn't neccesarilly put it away wet but i didn't really store it--one week led to one month led to one year which eventually became where I'm at now.As luck would have it i had just changed the oil within a week or so and it had a full tank of premium and it has been garaged the whole time(although not a heated one). I'm hoping to awaken it this summer but nervous about how to do it.
Please send any ideas and tips.

Change all fluids and drain the gas tank, gas in a car that long is no good. Inspect hoses, belts for dry rot and of course you will need new tires. Ken from Mercedessource has a couple of on demand videos about the steps to start an old Benz that has set for 5 or more years
