Mercedes S600 1997
Hi
My favourite S class is absolutely the w140.
I rmember watching the w140 in 1992 when I was 16,and I knew I have to have a car like that.
I'm driving an s600 for the last two years but I can say that I enjoy every minute in the car.
I also drove the w220 S class ,and although the ride is even smoother ,because off the Air suspension, I wouldnt change.
The new S doesn't have that old school Mercedes feeling.(But not a bad car)
Not to say that for my size (6'6" 265lbs) the w140 ist the best.
I hit the ceiling of the w220 S class when Í sit straight!
the w140 is the real s class for me!

w140

i bought my 1995 s320v a year ago. so far i have spent $80 for a lube and oil. other than gas thats it. i can't say that is a high cost car.
because i am tall my head touches the roof in most cars, but in the 140 i can wear a cowboy hat. yeehaa.
i get good economy in the city, and on the highway it is rock steady.
you get lots of apreciative looks and comments too.
love it

OH BABY

Sounds like a lot of people love the 140 for one of the same reason as I. At 6'5" 280lbs it fits me as well as my GMC Crew cab.
My '96 S320 is my second MB and I totally love it. Economy, class, & style all in one. The clasic Mercedes look is what drew me to it the most, then I drove it...............OH Baby was all I could say.
Except for a broken rear view mirror I have no complaints.
