S500 Hood on a s420?
Just recently bought a 95 S420. It was in a small fender bender before I bought it so the hood was replaced but now the hood doesn't sit right. Apparently the hood that's on it now was taken from a s500. So my question is will this S500 Hood fit my s420 or do I need to buy a new hood?

is there a difference between swb and lwb? I heard s600 were different because of fitting a radiator.

Do you have any measurement for that?
Rgds the swb and lwb, here are measurements of W140 and V140, and the difference is purely 100mm extra on the back door area (height measurements will be dependent on how low the car sits on its wheels)

1995 S420;

1995 S500;

And since you do not say which year the S500 hood is from, this indicates that the partnr. are the same for all years;

What could be your case, is that you are trying to mix the non-charcoal filter hood 140 880 26 57 (without slats at the top), with a charcoal hood 140 880 24 57 (with slats).
