Exclamation Need Help With Monoblock 18x9.5 and 18x8.5 Tire size

Hi Everyone,
I know there are TONS of post about this with pictures and all, but I've never seen this combination before.

I stumbled upon a staggered set of aero II monoblocks. 18x9.5 rear 18x8.5 front. (I got the set for 300 bucks). I wanted to put these on my W140 but I'm unsure of what tires to get.
I know the stock monoblock option for the w140 was 8.5 all around so I guess I know what size for the fronts.

I really don't want to sacrifice the ride quality of my current wheels (stock wheels 235/60r16) but man do i love the look of the monoblocks!

So my question here is, what's the biggest size tires I can run here? I'm getting new shocks right now as well so those will be in top shape.

Thanks everyone!

255/45-18 mounted on the 18x8.5 fronts....275/40-18 on the rear. I have 18x8.5 Monoblocs all around on my W140 S600 and they sure don't ride as smoothly as the factory 16" setup FYI. You are definitely going to sacrifice some ride quality, but the look more than makes up for it!

I have the Monoblock with 245/45 front and 275/40 rear Michelin Pilot Sports and the ride is smooth similar to the 16" originals. The Monoblock 18". We're a factory option and should have had no impact on the ride, I did have a bumpy ride on 20" rims.
