99 CL500 (140 body)door sill replacement
I recently went to my local Benz dealer for service and some big foot was my service tech. He was apparently wearing golf shoes or boots, because I got the car back with the entry sill scuffed. I pitched a fit with the dealer and they agreed to replace the sill.
Is it hard to replace the sill? I'd almost rather do it myself to avoid anymore caveman damage to my car. Does anyone have any info about replacing the entry sill on a 99 CL500?

Just let the dealer worries about that. It should be pretty easy to do but mine are still looking new so I haven't tried to replace them yet.

it just clips on - pull up from the end slowly and delibertely.
new one - make sure all the clips are in place on the car, then place on and snap into place. needs a good thump to get it to seat properly.
